Lannette
will be featured as the guest artist at The
Burstin' With Broadway's June concert... An
Off Broadway Blast. Come join in the fun
as the North Vancouver community chorus showcases
music from My Fair
Lady, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Joseph and the Technicolor
Dreamcoat,
CHICAGO, Phantom of the Opera, and more.
Lannette will be joining the chorus
in their Phantom of the Opera medley
(performing
some "Christine" parts),
and will be singing a duet with choir
member Joel Smith, who she's
worked with in the past and
currently
sings with in the fantastic acappella
group, The Greater Vancouver Verve
Collective. Joel and Lannette will
be singing "Alone
in the Universe" from Seussical.
Along with those, this is a chance
for you to hear Lannette perform
solo. The songs she has chosen are
from past musicals she's
been
in,
and
has always
wanted
a chance to sing. So she's thrilled
to be performing these at the concert
for the first time. |

is having its premier performance, making a guest-starring
appearance at the Burstin' with
Broadway concert in January. The GVVC is an
a cappella group, focusing on jazz songs, having
its first full
company
rehearsal at the end of December 2005.
Directed by Kate Polsky, The GVVC has 7 members:
Robi (bass), Peter (baritone), Joel (tenor), Jennifer (alto), Geneva (alto), Kate (soprano
II), and
Lannette (soprano I). The group
is excited to have booked their first gig, and can't
wait perform.
They would like to thank Dominique Hogan, the choral

this great opportunity to sing.
